Last week on Wednesday 24th April, Tate performed for 3,500 Mancunians, supported by American rapper and singer-songwriter ‘charlieonafriday’. Ticket prices ranged from around £40 to the highly coveted £163 VIP tickets. These included early access to the venue, a Q&A with Tate herself, floor access to the sound check (consisting of 2 surprise songs not sung during the concert itself), and a bag of merchandise. Magdalena Calado-Seifert, who purchased this VIP experience, thoroughly enjoyed the concert, remarking:

‘It was the best night of my life and I was so happy to see my favourite artist after so many years of adoring her work.’

Tate has gained extreme popularity since developing traction online from her 2017 viral song ‘One Day’. The 20-year-old now has just short of 57 million monthly Spotify listeners, with the 2023 release ‘Greedy’ reading 3rd place on the prestigious Billboard Top 100.
